Omega Paradox is an upcoming science fiction / adventure series conceived by rising star and Digital Media Arts College professor Mark Sparacio.
Many smaller pu
blishers have come and gone since the speculator-driven comics glut of the early and mid-90s. One, however, that began publishing during that time and not only remains but continues to publish several popular titles is Moonstone Books, largely recognized by most as publisher of licensed properties such as The Phantom and Kolchak, The Night Stalker. Not as well known is that prior to acquiring the rights to these properties, Moonstone started out by publishing creator-owned comics such as Arianne and Mr. Nightmare's Wonderful World.
Amidst its current extensive and eclectic line of licensed comics, the publisher is again making room for a creative-owned work, one from an artist who's quietly being toiling in the industry for several years.Mark Sparacio, a professor at DMAC, is the upcoming artist responsible for creating the science fiction / adventure series Omega Paradox. Until now Mark has primarily been responsible for creating cover illustrations for various publishers such as DC, Marvel, and Dark Horse, as well as covers for industry publications such as Comics Buyer's Guide and the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide.
